Here's my math. Say I have 500 LP's that I'd like to listen to. I'd think the minimum charge would be $1 each (I sure as heck wouldn't do it for that). That's $500. For that price I could buy a VPI 16.5 and a starter bottle of fluid and a brush and clean records forever, just paying for consumables along the way. If I ever decide to get out of vinyl I could sell the machine for half of what I paid for it.
