I hope you'll be happy with the AT33PTG when you get it...I like it a lot more than the OC-9..it sounds a lot more musical and sweet...in contrast I never managed to get the OC-9 to sound right...always a wee bit cold and uptight...but even then (like you) I'd take the OC-9 over the 2 Grados anytime.
When you do get your AT33PTG and have compared it to the 103R, I'd love to heard from you...please email me offline!
But judging from your description of the 103R against the OC-9, you're right in saying that it may just sound pretty much like the AT33PTG!
What setup do you use?
