RB300 on LP12 cuing problem

Hi, I have am using an RB300 arm on an LP12. It is very difficult to cue up the arm without causing the suspension to shake and the stylus to travel on the record. The cuing lever doesn't seem to be overly stiff. Am I just to shaky or is there something that can be done? I have had my set up checked by a person who used to be a LINN dealer and he said the setup was good.
