Knowing that beefing up the motor isolation on the Scout is highly desireable, I've got a 14" x 19" x 3/8" piece of MDF with very rigid laminate ready to cut out the section for the motor. The TT section will rest on 4 KAB hemis, the heaviest rated ones (65lb). The piece the motor sits on will have the lightest KAB hemis (rated for 15lb) They are the same size domes so the piece will be level. This should isolate the motor nicely from the table. I'll post pics when it's done.Oh, a question to Scout owners. I know the SDS is desireable, but what about the 300 rpm motor upgrade. Seems reasonable at $150.
