Prompted by John Elisons advice, I rigged up a little platform from a condiments lid and some Harry Potter swap cards - basically separating the 103R from any magnetic parts.
The Shure aint dead yet!This is what I got, antiskate enabled (remember from above, I 'guessed' the Shure was indicating about 2.06 under the same conditions):
I'll try to hold off on any more 'definitive pronouncements' until I
do some more investigation or maybe rig up that little 'wally' adapter Shane mentioned.
For the moment, I retract everything negative I said about the Shure (egg on face etc).
