Kenster, sounds like a good practice for using the Caig fluids. The Walker Extreme SST is a paste and it dries to a soft solid over time. It does not migrate, and it cleans off very easily with isopropyl alcohol and a cotton cloth or swab. Because it is HIGHLY conductive, use a very SMALL amount to just lightly paint the contact surface and be careful not to accidentally get it where you don't intend it to be.As to the sonic benefits of Extreme SST, it is a dramatic improvement over every other contact enhancer I've used -- it does make a a very positive difference. I consider it a necessary part of my system set up and use it on all contacts in my system. My comments from a year ago about the sonic improvements hold true for me today:
