I have never found an acrylic platter or mat that sounds right IMHO

Others may find them very nice. I find them lacking in PRAT and clarity. I thought I saw acrylic platters on Well Tempered Tables first, but I may be way wrong about this.

I may be a lone voice of discontent with acrylic for platters or mats.

I do like acrylic for my armboards. Way cool for this application.

One of the best platters I ever heard was a constrained layer model of aluminum, lead, and acrylic.

I am using a Platter Matter Mat right now, I think the Audioquest Sorbogel is a close relative. It sounds very neutral and does not steal away any PRAT on my DD table.
