I've used Pro Gold and liked it. The Walker Extreme SST is substantially better. And the Walker is neutral across the frequency spectrum, which is not the case with some other contact enhancers I've tried.For cleaning surfaces before applying E-SST, I use isopropyl alcohol unless there is obvious oxidation. In that case, I use Kontak or Caig DeoxIT followed by isopropyl (the follow-up cleaning with isopropyl is particularly important for the DeoxIT since it leaves a sonic signature to my ears).
