After several years of constant changes/upgrades to my system, it has been fairly stable for a couple of years now.
It is really easy for me to get sidetracked on tweaking. The whole point of the Hifi if to listen to music. When I go off on a tweak I'm listening to the system and not the music. I've gotten everything to a point where I just listen to music again and want to keep it that way.Still, there are a couple of changes I intend to make as funds allow.
The bottleneck in my System is the phono stage and I plan to have Cyrus Brenneman build me one of his custom Tube stages in the near future. I also plan to have Cy modify my 300B amps.
Beyond that I really want to rebuild my SOTA star TT with a new plinth and subchassis that will allow for mounting multiple arms. I want to have a dedicated mono arm but I only want 1 TT and I like the Vacuum platter so I'm going to have to build such an animal for myself one of these days.
In a way I dread making any changes though, because I do get easily sidetracked into tweak mode...
