Rega Planar 2 Motor Specs

Hi,

I am replacing a motor on an AR EB101 I am modifying. I recently purchased a damaged Rega Planar 2. Anyone know the specs for the Rega motor used in that older table? Is it a good solid motor? Finally, if rpms match and it can be fitted, would it be an upgrade from the stock Hurst motor?

PS I know the Hurst motor is still available...I am just wondering if this might be a good application for the Rega motor.
