Yes, I certainly was. That price would buy a lot of thrift store albums.

I was tempted to bid, when the price was around $1,000. But I rarely bid until the last seconds, and I knew that it was going to be more that what I would pay. If my Nitty Gritty 3.0 didn't still work perfectly, after 20 years, and if I had thousands of records to clean, it might be nice to have.
