Re-mounted my Platinum, played fine for a couple of days, and just now it skipped towards the end of a 12" single of techno type music. I put the needle down a couple of times and it would play maybe one revolution and skip back to the previous groove over and over. I've played that same record in the past with the Plat and it sounded great. I had it on a different headshell then but they are both Sumikos that i'm using on my MMT although one is slightly longer than the other. I have the Sonata back on now, I just wanted to do a comparison. Also put the 50 db resistors back in my Bugle for the 1.5 Sonata and now i'm getting a pop when I turn the darn thing on, can't anything go right tonight?
