This cartridge is late 60's vintage, noted for its' extemely low IM distortion and good tracking. If it's the E stylus (elliptical), it tracks between 2 - 2.5 grams. The cartridge is very heavy, and requires a tonearm capable of dealing with it's weight; i.e. Ortofon arm, Audio Technica, SME 3009/3012 with heavy counterweight and extra outrigger weight. It's a very good cart, though not as good as the SPU series (which cost ~$600+ and up). IF the stylus and suspension are in good shape, and you have an arm that will work with it, it may be worthwhile keeping it. Otherwise, you should get >$150 for it on ePay.
