Yes, that happens sometimes. Did you ground the platter? it helps somewhat. The best thing to do is zap the album with a zerostat after you've clamped it-that solves the problem completely. BTW, did you have trouble setting the VTA? I've got a benz glider, and i had tolower it so much, that I needed to adjust the cueing.
