I believe the V15III was a higher compliance cartridge than the IV
V and x MR.The SME3009 series III was the Ultra low mass arm developed for
the V15 III, the series II and the II (imp) are good with
just about any fairly compliant MM cartridge even some MC's you may have to add some mass to the headshell to run some well.The more time you spend learning the subtlties the better it
will sound, overall a very easy arm to live with and they work well on lots of different tables.Regards FredJ
