Yes, mine didn't have the corner blocks either, so I made some up a long time ago. Just hardwood triangles, screwed & glued into 2 sides each. I seem to remember at one corner, you had to be careful about the dimensions of the triangle.My understanding is that Linn put the corner blocks in because they found plinths were splitting in some climates. Nothing more.
