Newbie here:Is the blue point/BP special worth looking into for a budget MC cart. that has enough output for a MM preamp?
I'm currently using cheap MM carts like linn basik and AT 95E (actually a 95E stylus on a basik cart.). This on a Rega Planar3, RB300 arm, tube amp, klipsch cornwalls. What other considerations are there besides output level and impedance?
I may possibly be DIY'ing a phono-pre that could be used for either variety, depending on what I decide would be best.
Sound is pretty decent right now. I'm not experienced enough to tell how cart. changes would affect things, overall.
I don't want a jazz or classical only cart. Rock/electronica will also be spun.
any suggestions or comments would be interesting to me :)

- For a budget MC, it's hard to beat the Denon DL-110 or 160. - HenryH 16:50:08 08/04/05 (0)
