Hello,
I've never seen an original copy of this album. I have the original Orange and black label re-issue with the picture of Oliver Nelson on the cover. I also have the reissues as well as the CD. I was just listening to this album on my vpi/Souther/Grado set up and as a reality check compared it to the CD and reissues. No contest. The original had more detail, air, yada yada .. Does anyone have the orginal album with the 'abstract' cover design? If so, how does it compare? Why? I just want to know if the orginal is worth searching for.
Regards,
David
