say "If my 501 was on it's last legs I'd certainly consider it"; well my friend, that is somehow my case: it happens that my beloved four years old grandson decided it was a good idea to play with my Acoustic Signature Final Tool turntable while I was working and he broked the tip, I called Needle Doctor but it can't be re-tiped, so now I am thinking on the possibility of upgrading my cartridge and going for the Shelter 901. Nevertheless the difference in price is considerable, from $ 850.00 to $ 1.500.00, so I have to think about it and listen opinions/experiences/comments just like yours before.
