The difference between the Mk III and Mk IV should not matter. My hinge bracket, on the back of the base is lined up perfectly with the outside of the junction box, thus no interference with the cable.
A DIY dustcover perhaps, as my dustcover came with the table from VPI and is cutout.
I only use the dustcover when I travel for an extended period of time and don't use the bracket on the rear of the base. I simply rest the dustcover on top of the table. Of course, I'm not a cat owner. With the RCA cables removed, I could rest a dustcover with no cutout.
