The last thing this hobby needs is to have every Tom, Dick and Harry grabbing LPs, be they good, bad or ugly, and putting stupid prices on them. I was at an auction several months ago, first one in quite a few years. I now know what a lot of baby boomers are doing to amuse themselves during their retirement - I couldn't believe the high prices they paid for mostly junk. One fellow paid $50 for about 75 LPs that were pulled out of a damp, dark shed. I had looked at them and decided that they were not even worth $5 for the lot.
