Are you mistaking the set screws on the collar of the antiskate device for the VTA set screws? That's what I did the first time. There is a notch in the plastic flange(?) that is below the antiskate collar. The set screws can be accessed through this notch. One is under the antiskate knob and one is in the back. A feeler gage from an auto parts store really helps in making this adjustment. I hope this helps.
