What CD player would that be, pray tell. Are you really Doug Blackburn in disguise? If you tell me your analog-killing CD player is a cheap Panasonic DVD player, then I'll know you're dB. Are you sure your Oracle is set up correctly?

If I understand your description, your TT is now suspended using o-rings. This may work sonically, but I wondered how far the table falls if an o-ring breaks.
