Are you the old wife??? ;-)The damage to our ears from digital LP's is well documented, but damage to a TT bearing?
I suppose if the bearing was made of an acrylic/aluminum sandwich bathed in Armor-All then it would self-destruct in just five years. Otherwise I expect you're safe.
