I jus tried putting a V15 on my Kenwood and am having a problem. Basically using a cartridge protractor, I can't get the shore to go far enough back to reach both null points. I
have been using this great semi auto direct drive for a while now with an Aperture Mauie home (Blue point clone) with great results, but is getting worn out.
It seems that the V15 is rather long cartridge. Foe some of their other turntables Kenwood recommend 40 mm from stylus tip to end of headshelI. The share stylus is 44mm from the back of the headshell, and thats as far back as it will go (and this is normal headshell) Iave been looking for a shorter headshell but havebt been able to find one.
I am wondering if any other Kenwood users have had this problem. I haven't been able to find a manual for the deck
Cheers
Steve
