RE: Classical music: digital or analog

This is a good question. I love classical via vinyl but I can't tell you how many new LP's, while good sounding are poor pressings. There's nothing worse than listening to quiet passages while the tic's and pop's are going on. I spend lot's of time cleaning my LP's and then to find how many new LP's are noisier than many of my older lesser used LP's is frustrating.

I guess it ultimately it depends upon how well you like your digital vs your analog set up. I prefer ensemble music via LP. Symphonic I could go either way. Try a few titles both ways and then decide.
