Arm sold at a higher price in the second auction. Seller is probably rubbing his grubby hands in glee.
However, buyer can still file a claim through Ebay for a full refund. The words AS-IS are meaningless when a claim is filed. Ebay wants all sellers to accept returns "no questions asked".
So the seller may be forced to honor a return.
Couldn't happen to a nicer cretin.
On another note, the wood damage is easily fixed, and the headshell coupling can be repaired. Hard part is the bearings.
