Kyle....VPI started with a sprung cement platform upon which one is to place his/her Denon on. I had one...improved the Direct Drive Denon (don't remember which model, but it was a big expensive one (at the time)). They also made a VPI Brick - a very heavy square of metal encased in wood which when placed atop one's amp, cleared the sound. Worked.
