if you swapped out cables, cleaned contacts at preamp as well, checked all contacts properly seated then you need to swap an old stylus back in.
If the problem stops get a new stylus, if it continues a new cart. Risk of record damage could be high if the stylus chipped.
IMO the swapping to DVD source should have proved most of the signal chain but potentially the switch on the preamp could need a deoxit spray
