AT95e: seeking engineering data

I finally dropped the price of a tank of gas on one of these suckers. I've owned dozens of cartridges ranging from cheap to $750, and used them in many tone arms, and the AT95e performs much better than I expected. I'm enjoying using it immensely. It's easy to listen with, and casts a satisfying image with good tone and detail. It "sounds" like a Clearaudio Virtuoso going through awkward adolescence, but taking it in stride.
I'd like to understand what's under the hood that makes it so darn good.
Any input or links?
