Linn Basik LV X to Clearaudio Verify?

I was considering replacing the Linn Basik LV X tonearm on my Heybrook TT-2 with a Clearaudio Verify at the same time as I replace the cartridge (will probably go with an Audio-Technica AT33PTG/II). It's an old TT, but pretty similar to the Linn LP-12 as far as I can see, and I see a lot of people updating those and tweaking them out. Or perhaps I should just save my pennies and update the TT to one of those EAT C-Majors, although I'm not sure about the Ortofon cartridge that's included. Your thoughts?
