This is a direct-to-disc new release produced by Mike Valentine with the Interpreti Veneziani. Michael Fremer reviewed this recently rating it a 10 for sound. I concur. This is a very nice sounding disc and the live cutting makes it especially vibrant. It's a smaller group than usual for this piece, only nine members but the sound has plenty of heft.

I debated whether I needed another copy of this work but I glad I ordered this. My favorite is the Marriner Four Seasons which I have on a King Superanalogue disc with superb sound. Obviously, a larger chamber orchestra was employed.

It's good to see that new classical records are still being produced, though certainly not many.
