RE: Empire 698... All's well, that ends well...

Well, more than a few nerves were stuck in the process, but...

I managed to trace with wiring from the connector to the RCA jacks and the bare hair-like wires at the bottom of the arm to the headshell; cart disconnected for sure! The hair raising part (pun partially intended) was soldering the arm wiring back to the connector at the base of the arm and remounting the connector... pretty hectic! My hands are not as steady as they were a few years ago. The rest is child's play...

Thanks for the moral support, PAR, alaskahiatt, John, and Uncle Mike(?), but Uncle Mike, I am glad I could support your thirst for DRAMA! LOL!

Drama is over, nothing to see here... move along! Whew...

The "acid" test comes when I get the table back together and I am spinning some vinyl... that will come shortly... then I can really relax. I will report out after that.
