RE: scraping cartridge on vinyl (will it end my world?!)

Okay, I guess the question is, will it actually ruin the cartridge? It doesn't appear to affect tracking at all and the stylus isn't jumping or anything. Just that scrape from the tail end of the cart.

I mean I guess I'm saying I'm probably going to do this anyway, how bad is it really?
