I have for a long time had and used a VPI 16.5 record cleaner. It does well and I'm happy with it. However if I had my choice my first cleaning would be with an ultrasonic machine then use the 16.5 or Record Doctor machines to maintain. I think if it is convenient, use the Record Genie.
