Speaking of LP "treatments," anybody remember this stuff? I've used it for years with good results. I don't necessarily hear any sonic improvement that I can give it direct credit for, but it completely gets rid of static. And for a long time. I won't say forever, but I've never had to re-treat an LP unless I clean it again at some point on the VPI.

Some of the comments at Needle Doctor are downright hilarious. If it's gumming up a stylus it's because they're applying way too much. The "if a little is good, a huge amount should be better" club. And it's NOT a cleaner (well, not an effective one anyway)...it's a destaticizer and lubricant, which works as advertised when used as instructed.
