Fresh in from Oregon, USA; I have photos of Terry Alford's Thorens TD125. It is the first version and came in AB configuration with standard base for 9" tonearms. Terry has given the electronics a 'tune-up' (his words)and constructed the plinth you see from two species of solid Cherry. One specie of Cherry common to the US. The other specie is from Brazil and is the darker of the two hardwoods. Terry likes Cherry. So do I.
Additionally, those familiar with the TD125 will recognize that this new plinth is in a 'long base'configuration. The tonearm in use is a Jelco SA-750L (12")
The aluminum sub-chassis has been custom painted in automotive black by a friend of his who paints cars.
