Hey Twystd
I am really interested in all the info you could give us. I am playing right now with a hi torque Hurst motor on a big 6" dia billet separate pod. I am going to see if I can put the noise where it does not interface with the cart.
Your approach with increasing the torque and reducing the noise sound like a better idea. I am a firm believer that there are many things us DIYers can do that corporate world would freak out about.
So you should be proud, you made your own street, then went down it.
Thanks for sharing
Tom
