I belive this to be true (yes, even the parts that are gibberish). The statement about the "certain warmth of tone that is felt and sensed rather than heard" is entirely real and scrupulously verifiable. And I do wish everything was recorded on Ampex 350's, then cut on Scully or Neumann lathes, by somebody with an ear, which would ADVANCE the cause of recorded music 50 years. What a world it would be! ;-)
