The VPI device may be thought to compete with the Phoenix Engineering gear, but in use, I doubt it will.
The Falcon/Eagle power supply and Roadrunner tach system are the best upgrade I have ever made to my analog front end.
Right now I am trying to figure out a way to use this system with my newly acquired Oracle Delphi MKV.
Mike Bettinger is a good designer and a smart guy, but if this gizmo does not have a sensor system that reads platter speed in real time and can adjust speed to compensate, it is not in the same league as the Phoenix gear.
I can already use the Roadrunner with my Oracle...now if I can just figure a way to connect the motor to a Falcon...
