Passive DJ Mixer?

I have a DJ setup in the basement bar that consists of 2 Audio-Technica LP120 turntables into a Behringer VMX300USB mixer and then out to 3 Alesis amps... I'm not really happy with the sound of the Behringer mixer. I'd like to use my Parasound PHP-850 as the preamp, but I still need a passive mixer with a cross-fade function.

I found a "Rotary DJ Mixer" (link below), but it is a one-off project that isn't being worked on any longer... anyone have a source for something in current production? I'm also considering taking one of the DIY schematics I've found to my local tech and having one built, if all else fails.
