...it's the sound quality but it's more. When I get home and sit down with a stack of new sealed or newly acquired used LPs I delight in carefully splitting the seams, tilting the jacket and sliding out the inner sleeve and LP while at the same time gauging the heft and or color of the vinyl. I check the flatness of the vinyl and carefully place the LP on the platter and position the stylus while pushing the tonearm release lever.
I quickly find my way to my listening spot and settle in for the vinyl experience. Aahhhh...
So far, I have had no parallel to this experience with digital.
Still spinnin'...
