I only have around 4-5K, and they're all in one room. I do Rock and blues and soundtracks A-Z, then separate Jazz A-Z. Classical etc are not really organized, but together (too few to worry about). I have a 1 cube comp-section and a few other odd piles (Folkways Irish Rebel or Labor songs etc). That said my buddy has all of his A-Z regardless of genre. (His are in several rooms in the house) I guess whatever makes sense to you.
