This reminds me I have a Pickering UV-15 D 2000-Q. Originally designed for playing quadraphonic records, it has a Quadrahedral stylus. I think this translates exactly to "Shibata", which was a commonly used diamond stylus shape for playing quad records. Also, I suspect that the "Stereohedron" name also translates to "Shibata".
This cartridge seems to have suffered a hardened elastomer donut and probably needs to have its stylus assembly replaced (most economical option). although I am intrigued by the shape of the cantilever. It looks high quality.
'Reminds me; I don't have a photo of this cartridge. I need to get some shots of it up in my cartridge gallery page.
