ANY classic rock reissue leaves me wanting to put a scratched /warped copy I may have.
IME, the Beates mono stuff is the only acceptable reissues on my system. And that may be the case only because I don't have an unobtanium period British press?
Perhaps I may let nostalgia take over at times, but even a noise free reissue has the punched up lower end which doesn't sound natural and compound an already copromised recording.
I try no to, but am forced to now and then, get a reissue.
I have the other 3 period presses. Still weeding out a nice cheap Tarkus bin diving.
