Goodwill Vinyl Rock Collection

This isn't a rant whatsoever but I am bummed I even saw this. I happen to work for Goodwill, I'm a service tech so I'm in a bunch of stores in my area. Yesterday, I was doing some paperwork/computer work in the training room when I noticed 4 large bins full of records. My curiosity got the better of me so I started looking through, which I'm really not supposed to do since I'm not a store employee. My jaw dropped when I saw all the Led Zep, Who, Stones, Zappa, Airplane, so on and so forth. I checked out a few of the records and they were in great shape in original sleeves. Thing is these looked like originals due to the gatefolds and what not. Then I saw an original Some Girls, actresses and all, checked out the vinyl, no scratches and looked clean as the day it was bought. The cover had a little damage below the bottom cutout, some paper had gotten stuck to it.

But I brought up what I found to the manager and said she could get more than 99 cents for a lot of these records. I went back to the store today, I did actually have more work to do there and all the records were still sitting in back. I was tempted to tell her to just roll out a cart with a bin of records each day, there are probably 800 or more total. I want them myself to listen to, but I don't want to get fired or anyone else fired. Policy is what goes on the floor has to be on the floor for half an hour before an employee can purchase, and I have gotten some bargains but not vinyl. I'm out of luck regardless because I can't just loiter in a store lol, I like my job. But, I know when these records do make it to the floor someone who is a re-seller is probably going to be the person to get them, uggghhh.
