I also picked up a herron vtph 1 vacuum tube phono pre-amp in the purchase. the rest of my system consists of mark levinson 433 amp, mark levinson 326s preamp, audience power conditioner, Marantz reference dac and a custom built music computer. speakers are revel salon 2 with revel salon subwoofer. I'm not sure how this gear will sound with the vintage turntable but I really like the idea of the 301. thanks for the information on the cartridge as I said i'm new to vinyl but can't wait to get it up and running.
