Hello
Please be patient with me since I do not have that much tech skills...
But, at least I can solder.
I do have the following setup:Koetsu Platinium Signature, Ortofon T3000 MC stepup and a Audio Note Kit L3 phono stage.
Is there an easy way (ie. with resistors/value?) to lower the gain?
Output from the Koestu is 0.25mv.
The overall gain in the Mc-stepup is 30db.
The overall gain in the phono stage is 40db.
I am using a passive preamp (Sowther trannies as pot-meters).
I am very pleased with the sound of this setup, it is just that the gain is a bit to high. When turning the pot (Elma stepped selector) about 9 to 10 o'clock it is starting to be loud.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks
Tore
