Musical Fidelity M1 Turntable

I have a chance to obtain a Musical Fidelity M1 TT that's like new! I'm curious as to what price I should offer for this TT. I cannot find any presently for sale to get an idea of what used ones sell for. I know it cost $5.5K new. Also was this a well received TT that would be worth purchasing today or would I be better off purchasing a newer $5K-$6K TT? Can anyone help me?
