As the Technics SP25 is (was) only a motor unit the OP's description of a "full size deck on which the arm iis mounted" does fit the Garrard SP25 as he seems to use the term "deck" in this instance as meaning the motor unit assembly to which the arm is fitted. Of course the Garrad is not in the same league as the Technics (though the Garrard started production years before the Technics and thus used the product name first).
